Personal information is the information that identifies you as an individual or family.
Buddings collects basic information that you submit to us, such as your name, email address, postal address and telephone number, when you apply. Of course, we will also need specific information about your child: his or her name, birthdate, allergies, and relevant information about family members and friends with whom we will have contact. After the initial application, we will ask for further information, such as contact information for your family medical practitioner, etc.
If you join Buddings and use our services, we collect information about your reservations (dates, times, frequency, etc.) and your use of the Buddings service (snacks, bike rentals, etc.). We use this information to respond to your inquiries, provide and improve our products and services and maintain your account.
Buddings does not store financial information at this time, meaning you will be asked to re-enter your credit card information each time you make a purchase. We will collect and maintain records of your purchases, and other information relating to your payments. These are processed by a third party - Virtual Merchant - a product of Elavon. The principle purposes for which we collect and store your personal information are to process your application, allow you to reserve and use Buddings, bill you, respond to your inquiries, improve our products and services and maintain your account with us.
It is very important that we have a free and trust-based relationship with all the families with whom we have contact. If your child is sick, has developed a bad habit, or lost a loved one, please be sure to let us know so that we can better understand the possible reasons for their actions while at Buddings. Even if your usage of our service is very low, open communication of the events in your child's life will allow our staff to provide the best experience possible. Keeping your child's personal information confidential is of utmost importance to us. Any disclosure regarding your child's life is considered "Personal Information." It will be kept absolutely confidential and used only for the purposes providing the most encouraging and beneficial experience possible.
Buddings maintains a server in Canada and is bound by the laws governing the processing of personal information here.
Except as described in this Privacy Policy, Buddings will not share your personal information with third parties unless it is necessary to provide service, fulfill a transaction you have requested, or in other circumstances with your consent.
We may disclose your personal information in connection with a corporate transaction, proceeding, or reorganization involving the business activities for which the information is maintained. In the event that ownership of Buddings or its business was to change as a result of a merger, acquisition or transfer to another company, your personal information may be transferred. If such a transfer results in a material change in the way your personal information is used, we will provide notice about the choices you have to decline to permit such a transfer.

Accuracy with regard to your personal information, especially in relation to your child's needs, is very important and Buddings is pleased to provide you with access to your information through the Buddings Account. If changes occur in the run of a term at Buddings, please try to update the account with the new information as soon as possible. You will also be asked to review and update your Buddings Account on occasion. Though you have access at any time, when commercially practicable, if Buddings is informed of an inaccuracy, we will make the appropriate corrections on your behalf.
Buddings has established safeguards to help prevent unauthorized access to or misuse of your personal information, but cannot guarantee that your personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in a manner inconsistent with this Privacy Policy (for example, as a result of unauthorized acts by third parties that violate applicable law or the above policies). We use a password to help verify your identity before granting access to your account or making corrections to any of your personal information. It is your responsibility to safeguard your password.
