Storybook Presents: Everyday Heroes

"A hero is a person who is really intent on

making the world a better place"

- Maya Angelou

What are Everyday Heroes?

Heroes are all around us.

They are the ones who wake up in the morning with a purpose to make the world a better place.

They don't always fight crimes or wear capes.

Many heroes are living among us everyday. So in this class, we celebrate them.

What We Will Learn

In this class, we will inspire good citizens of the future.

We start the class by asking "What do you want to be when you grow up?"

Learning from firefighters, police officers, medical practitioners, and much more, we will expand our horizons on the true definition of being a hero.

We will learn that being a hero means to give back and to help those in need.

What we will cover

We will learn about:

  • Firefighters
  • Police officers
  • Medical Practitioners
